Prior to using rosterit doing a roster for casual and part time staff was a nightmare. The time it took phoning staff to ensure availability, allocating shifts, analysing the number of hours and manually sending out the roster was horrendous.

 

It took days, multiple checks and still things had to be changed after staff received the roster. Now everything is done online and it's simple. Prior to putting together a new roster I text staff asking them to update their availability which means no more manual checking, I allocate the available shifts, run a report to check fair allocation of hours and advise staff when the roster is complete.
